Baked Green Tomatoes
- 2 whole Green Tomatoes
- 1/4 cups Fat Free Milk
- 1 whole Egg
- Salt And Pepper, To Preference
- 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 2 Tablespoons Plain Yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoons Parsley
- 1/2 teaspoons Paprika
- In a small bowl, mix together your wet mixture ingredients.
- On a large plate, mix together your dry mixture ingredients.
- Slice your green tomatoes.
- Place each slice into the wet mixture first, followed by the dry mixture.
- Coat generously in the dry mixture.
- Place your coated tomatoes onto a cooking sheet.
- Spray with olive oil cooking spray to allow the panko crumbs to become golden and crisp while cooking.
- Place into a preheated oven set to 350 degrees F and cook for 20-30 minutes (flipping gently halfway through) until golden brown.
- Combine the dipping sauce ingredients together.
- Serve baked green tomatoes with dipping sauce.
