Chocolate Biscotti

  1. Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, salt and baking baking powder.
  2. Separately, mix flavoring and eggs.
  3. Combine.
  4. Add water as needed to have a sticky consistency.
  5. If the mixture is too stiff, it won't spread out properly.
  6. Put this glob on a greased cookie sheet and arrange it into a log about 15 inches long and 1 1/2 - 2" wide.
  7. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool a few minutes, then slice diagonally into 1/2- 3/4" slices.
  9. Place the slices on their side and put back in the oven (300 degrees) for 15 minutes.
  10. Turn over and cook another 10-15 minutes.
