Spaghetti Squash with Bacon

  1. Place squash, cut sides down, in microwaveable dish.
  2. Add enough water to dish to fill to 1-inch depth.
  3. Microwave on HIGH 12 min.
  4. or until squash can easily be pierced with fork.
  5. Cool 10 min.
  6. or until squash is cool enough to handle.
  7. Meanwhile, melt butter in small saucepan on medium-low heat.
  8. Add garlic; cook 3 min.
  9. or until lightly browned, stirring occasionally.
  10. Remove from heat.
  11. Stir in bacon and sage.
  12. Use fork to scrape squash flesh into spaghetti-like strands; place in medium bowl.
  13. Add butter mixture; mix lightly.
  14. Sprinkle with cheese.
