Boysenberry Pie Recipe
- 10 ounce frzn boysenberries thawed
- 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 x unbaked pie pastries
- Mix water, cornstarch, sugar and lemon juice together till smooth.
- Gently stir in berries.
- Pour into a 9" unbaked pastry shell, dot with butter.
- Cover with pastry strips, trim edges and seal as you flute crust.
- You may brush top with evaporated lowfat milk and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake at 400 F for 30-35 min.
