Aburaage Cream Cheese Sandwich

  1. As shown in the photo, slice the aburaage into 8 even squares.
  2. They should come out to roughly the same size as the portions of cream cheese.
  3. Heat some oil in a frying pan, then sear the aburaage.
  4. Once it's crispy, take it out of the pan.
  5. Cook the chirimen jako in sesame oil until crisp.
  6. Mix together the ingredients.
  7. Add the chirimen jako from Step 2.
  8. The more onions, the more delicious it will be.
  9. At first, it will be hard to mix, the salinity of the mentsuyu will soften the ingredients.
  10. Sandwich the cream cheese between two pieces of aburaage.
  11. Cut into triangles or leave as squares.
  12. Transfer to a plate.
  13. Top with the ingredients and sprinkle with ichimi spice and/or sesame seeds.
