Mason Jar Breakfast
- 1 Butter (enough to butter inside cooking vessel)
- 1 Egg (1 or 2 or with some egg whites)
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 1 Anything you want in it, i.e. cheese, tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, sausage, bacon, cooked potatoes, black beans, ketchup, hot sauce - you get the idea, anything works.
- 1 Salt, pepper, or herbs
- 1 slice Bread
- Butter inside the jar, cup, coffee mug, or bowl you plan to use.
- Add eggs and milk and whip.
- Add any ingredients you want to use.
- Leave enough liquid to cover bread.
- Cut the slice of bead in pieces and push the pieced down to soak up the egg liquid.
- Now you can cook, or save until breakfast time tomorrow.
- If you use a mason jar, just screw on the lid and place in the refrigerator.
- Cook in the microwave until the egg mixture is no longer liquid and the mixture has raised to not quite double in size.
- About 3-minutes for 1 jar, 4-minutes for 2 jars.
- You can empty your creation out onto a plate, or eat right in the jar or coffee mug.
