Vegetable Soup
- 2 lbs lean stewing beef, browned
- 6 cups mixed vegetables
- 2 cups baby lima beans
- 8 cups beef broth
- 5 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 cups v 8 vegetable juice
- 1 tablespoon season salt
- 1 onion, chopped
- Brown the stewing meat and onion in large pot.
- Add the rest of ingredients and simmer for at least 2 hours.
- Serve with homemade buttered bread.
