Its Too Easy Pork Chops and Rice Casserole
- 4 whole Thicker-cut Pork Chops
- 1 dash Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 dash Sage
- 1 dash Thyme
- 2 Tablespoons Veg. Oil
- 1- 1/2 cup Long Grain Rice
- 3- 1/2 cups Boiling Water
- 1 envelope Onion Soup Mix, Dry
- 1.
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- 2.
- Spray 9 x 13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- 3.
- Season pork chops with salt, pepper, sage, and thyme and brown in oil on both sides.
- 4.
- While chops are browning, bring water to boil and spread rice in bottom of baking dish.
- Sprinkle rice with pepper and then the onion soup mix.
- 5.
- When water is boiling and chops are browned, add water to the rice and top with pork chops.
- 6.
- Immediately cover tightly with foil and bake 45 minutes.
- 7.
- Remove from oven and let sit 10-15 min.
- 8.
- Enjoy!
