Mint Julep

  1. Muddle the spearmint leaves with the Mint Syrup and bitters in the bottom of a rocks or Old Fashioned glass.
  2. Add the sparkling water.
  3. Fill the glass with crushed ice and add the bourbon.
  4. Gently stir and garnish with the mint sprig.
  5. Dominant Flavors: mint and caramel
  6. Body: medium
  7. Dryness: medium
  8. Complexity: medium
  9. Accentuating or Contrasting Flavors: sweet oak coming out of the cold ice
  10. Finish: short, sharp, fresh
  11. Glass: rocks
