Cheesy Tomato-Pasta
- 6 ounces, weight Small Pasta, Such As Orzo
- 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 1 can (16 Oz. Can) Tomato Sauce
- 2 ounces, fluid Chicken Broth
- 1/4 teaspoons Dried Basil, Or A Couple Of Big Pinches Of Minced Fresh Basil
- 1/4 teaspoons Dried Oregano
- 1/4 teaspoons Parsley
- 1/4 teaspoons Seasoned Salt
- 1/2 cups Milk
- 2 ounces, weight Shredded Cheddar
- Salt And Pepper
- Cook pasta according to directions on the package.
- Melt butter over medium heat, then add flour and stir until golden.
- Turn heat down.
- Slowly add tomato sauce, stirring.
- Add broth and seasonings.
- Let simmer 10 minutes.
- Add milk and pasta, then stir in cheese to melt.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
