Oatmeal Scotchies

  1. Heat oven to 375F.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in small bowl.
  3. Combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla in large bowl.
  4. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
  5. Add flour mixture gradually, beating at low speed, until well mixed.
  6. Stir in oats and morsels.
  7. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake 7-8 minutes for chewy cookies or 9-10 minutes for crisp cookies.
  9. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet; remove to cooling rack.
