Superb Sweet Boule Made with a Rich Dough
- 200 grams Bread (strong) flour
- 50 grams Margarine
- 30 grams Sugar
- 140 ml Egg + Milk
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Dried yeast
- 50 grams Cake flour
- 50 grams Sugar
- 1 Egg (medium)
- 50 grams Margarine
- 3 drops Vanilla essence (optional)
- Make the dough in the bread maker up to the first proofing.
- This is a rather rich dough, so it will look like this at first, but it will eventually ball up.
- Make the cookie batter while you wait.
- Combine all the ingredients into a bowl and vigorously mix.
- Mix it until the margarine granules have disappeared.
- Put the batter into a piping bag to squeeze it on top of the bread dough.
- After the dough is done, place it on your working space sprinkled with flour.
- Divide each piece into 40 g and roll it up.
- I made 10.
- Cover with plastic wrap let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Roll the dough again into balls and drop into molds.
- Let rise in a warm location for 40~50 minutes.
- It is good to go once it has slightly increased in size.
- Squeeze the cookie batter on top of the dough.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 190C for 15 minutes.
- I only used about half of the dough, so I stored the leftovers in the freezer.
- Let it thaw naturally in the fridge when using it.
