Fast Green Chili Chicken Soup

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet and whisk in flour over medium heat.
  2. Gradually ad milk and chicken broth, whisking well to prevent lumps.
  3. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.
  4. Add the chicken, chiles, garlic powder, salt and pepper and stir well.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes.
