Steamed Chicken Tenders and Cabbage with Yuzu Pepper Paste

  1. Prep: Tear the cabbage up into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Cut the ginger into thin strips.
  3. Chop the scallions as well.
  4. Slice the chicken tender diagonally and spread the yuzu pepper paste.
  5. In a microwave safe plate, spread the cabbage and arrange the chicken and ginger.
  6. Sprinkle with sake.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Just enough to cook through the chicken.
  9. Garnish with the scallions.
  10. Pour over the ponzu sauce.
