Almond Butterscotch Bars
- 1 cup butter (softened)
- 34 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 teaspoon almond extract
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup slivered almonds
- Cream Butter and brown sugar.
- Add extracts and salt.
- Gradually add flour, Press into ungreased 10 x 15 jelly roll pan.
- Sprinkle butterscotch chips and almonds over dough and press lightly.
- Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
- Cool and cut.
- Adjust pan size and cooking time if you prefer a more chewy cookie.
