Spiced Kettlecorn

  1. Melt the butter over medium heat in a large pot.
  2. Add the canola oil, sugar, and corn kernels, and stir well to coat the kernels.
  3. Cover with a close-fitting lid and reduce heat to medium-low.
  4. Cook until the kernels stop popping, shaking the pot occasionally to coat popped kernels evenly.
  5. When popping has finished, remove from heat or dump into a serving bowl and add salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg, tossing gently to mix.
  6. Enjoy!
