Moist Pumpkin Bread Recipe
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 2 2/3 c. sugar
- 4 Large eggs
- 2 c. mashed pumpkin
- 2/3 c. water
- 3 1/3 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon grnd cloves
- 1 teaspoon grnd cinnamon
- 2/3 c. minced pecans
- 2/3 c. raisins
- Cream shortening.
- Gradually add in sugar, beating well.
- Add in Large eggs, mix well.
- Stir in pumpkin and water.
- Combine flour, baking pwdr, soda, salt and spices.
- Add in to creamed mix, mixing well.
- Mix in nuts and raisins.
- Spoon into 2 well greased and floured loaf pans (9x5x3).
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 min.
