Braised Red Cabbage 2 Recipe

  1. In a large pot heat the extra virgin olive oil over medium-high heat and saute/fry the onions till soft.
  2. Add in the cinnamon, cloves and cumin and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Fold in the cabbage and saute/fry for 5 min, till wilted.
  4. Add in the cider, sugar and vinegar.
  5. Cover and braise over low heat till the cabbage is tender, about 20 min.
  6. Serve hot.
