Fettucini Alfredo With Vegetables

  1. Parboil vegetables until tender (do not overcook to soft). Rinse in cold water and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, add milk and cornstarch; stir until blended over medium heat.
  3. Add margarine and stir until margarine melts and mixture thickens and is smooth.
  4. Add pepper and Parmesan; remove from heat. Simultaneously cook fettucini noodles according to package directions.
  5. Rinse with cold water and place in a large bowl.
  6. Add broccoli, cauliflower and cheese sauce.
  7. Stir together and serve with a salad and garlic bread.
