Walnut Cherry Strudel #A1

  1. Heat the oven to 375F.
  2. Combine A.1.
  3. Sauce, chocolate, milk and butter into a microwaveable bowl.
  4. Microwave for 30 seconds.
  5. Stir.
  6. Repeat until the mixture is melted and smooth.
  7. Roll the pastry sheet into a 16x12-inch rectangle.
  8. Spread the chocolate mixture on the pastry to within 1 1/2 inches of the edge.
  9. Sprinkle with the walnuts and cherries.
  10. Roll up like a jelly roll.
  11. Place seam-side down onto a baking sheet.
  12. Beat the egg and water in a small bowl.
  13. Brush the roll with the egg mixture.
  14. Bake for 35 minutes.
  15. Cool.
  16. Slice into 6 portions.
