Curried Salmon Steaks Recipe
- 3/4 c. finely minced onions
- 8 tbsp. butter
- 6 salmon steaks
- Flour
- Salt and pepper
- Curry pwdr
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- In a large skillet, saute/fry onions in 4 Tbsp.
- of the butter till transparent.
- Remove onions and set aside.
- Heat remaining butter in the skillet.
- sprinkle salmon steaks with flour, salt, pepper and a generous amount of curry pwdr (use less if you prefer a milder flavor).
- Saute/fry steaks, turning once till they break at the touch of a fork.
- Remove to a hot serving platter.
- Return onions to skillet.
- Add in 1 Tbsp.
- curry pwdr and mix well.
- Gradually stir in the lowfat sour cream.
- Heat sauce but don't allow to boil.
- Pour sauce over steaks and serve immediately.
