Microwave-Steamed Pork Belly and Chinese Cabbage
- 1/4 Chinese cabbage
- 200 grams Thinly sliced pork belly
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 Pepper
- 4 grams Bonito dashi stock granules
- 1 Umami seasoning
- Chop up the Chinese cabbage roughly.
- Cut the pork belly into similar sizes as the Chinese cabbage.
- In a microwave-proof bowl, arrange the Chinese cabbage and pork belly in alternating order.
- Pack tightly.
- Sprinkle on the cabbage and pork.
- Cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 5 to 8 minutes at 600 W.
- Enjoy while it's hot.
