Peking Stir Fried Tuna Recipe
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 (12 ounce.) tuna, liquid removed
- 1 (2 ounce.) water chestnuts, liquid removed
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 ounce. minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon sherry extract
- 4 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 5 ounce. frzn snow peas
- In large non-stick skillet, brown garlic and onion till soft.
- Sprinkle with ginger and pepper; add in sherry extract, soy sauce and water.
- Break tuna into large chunks and add in to skillet, stirring gently.
- Cook covered, till heated through.
- Add in snow peas and water chestnuts and cook about 5 min or possibly till snow peas are tender-crisp.
- Stir in vegetable oil just before serving.
- Yield: 2 servings.
