Healthier Chocolate Chunk Cookies

  1. Preheat the oven to 375AF.
  2. Cream softened butter.
  3. Add sugar in gradually and beat until creamy.
  4. Beat in egg, vanilla, and flax seeds.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together rye flakes, flour, salt, and baking soda.
  6. Grdually mix flour mixture into butter mixture.
  7. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
  8. Drop the batter by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet (preferrably one made from stoneware).
  9. Bake about 10 minutes.
