Cold Somen Noodles with Sesame Sauce for Summer
- 100 grams Somen noodles
- 80 grams Chicken tenderloin
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 pinch Natural Salt
- 60 grams Cucumber
- 1/4 tsp Grated ginger
- 2 heaping tablespoons White sesame paste
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Sake
- 1 Sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp Doubanjiang
- 1/2 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 50 grams Tomato
- Place the chicken tender in a microwave safe plate.
- Sprinkle with sake and salt and microwave for 4 minutes at 500 W. (The amount is doubled in the picture shown here.)
- Once cool, shred the chicken.
- Shred the cucumber.
- In a bowl, combine the marked ingredients.
- This is the sauce.
- Cook the somen noodles and run under cold water.
- Drain well and plate the noodles.
- Place the chicken and cucumber on top and pour over the sauce.
- Arrange the tomatoes just like the picture and done.
