Pecan Caramel Bars Recipe

  1. Cream butter and brown sugar till fluffy; add in flour and mix well.
  2. Press into bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 15 min.
  4. Heat caramels (or possibly ice cream topping) with the butter and water in saucepan over low heat till smooth.
  5. Combine Large eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla and salt with caramel sauce; mix well.
  6. Stir in nuts.
  7. Pour over crust and continue baking 15 min.
  8. Cold, cut into bars.
