Shoyu (Soy Sauce) Chicken
- 1 cup Shoyu (soy Sauce)
- 1/2 cups Mirin (Japanese Sweet Rice Wine)
- 1/2 cups Water
- 2 teaspoons Sesame Seed Oil
- 3 cloves Crushed Garlic
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Fresh Grated Ginger (or Sub 1/2 Teaspoon Powdered For The 1 1/2 Teaspoons Fresh)
- 10 pieces Boneless Chicken Thighs
- 1.
- Put all of the ingredients except chicken into a large pot and bring to a boil.
- 2.
- Add chicken to the sauce.
- 3.
- Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.
- 4.
- Turn chicken thighs over and cook for another 5 minutes.
- 5.
- Turn stove off and let the chicken sit for 10 minutes.
- 6.
- Serve with white rice.
