White Gingerbread Recipe
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda in 3/4 c. sour lowfat milk
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- Mix flour, sugar and butter together to make crumbs.
- Take out one c.. Add in to remaining crumb mix ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda/sour lowfat milk, egg and baking pwdr.
- Beat good together.
- Pour 1/2 c. of crumbs in a 9 x 13 inch pan first; add in remaining mixed ingredients; top with remaining 1/2 c. of crumbs.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
