Melissas Shrimp and Crab Fettuccini

  1. Cook fettuccini according to package directions, drain and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in large Dutch oven.
  3. Saute bell pepper, mushrooms, onion and garlic until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Slowly add wine, whipping cream and Old Bay, stirring constantly.
  5. Let simmer for about 4-5 minutes, stirring often.
  6. Add shrimp and crab meat, stirring well to combine.
  7. Let simmer until the shrimp are pink and done.
  8. Add cheeses and stir well.
  9. Let simmer 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted, stirring occasionally.
  10. Mix in fettuccini.
  11. Serve with garlic bread and green salad and a big glass of Pinot Grigio (or whatever wine you cooked with).
  12. YUM.
