Sweet Potato Pie Granola Bars
- 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
- 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/4 cups Wheat Germ
- 2 Tablespoons Milled Flax Seed
- 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Ginger
- 18 teaspoons Allspice
- 18 teaspoons Freshly-ground Nutmeg
- 1/2 Baked Sweet Potato
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1/4 cups Honey
- 1/4 cups Applesauce
- Mix dry ingredients together.
- In a separate bowl, mash sweet potato.
- Then stir in egg and vanilla.
- Mix well until smooth and lump-free.
- Add honey and applesauce to the sweet potato mixture and stir until well combined.
- Stir in dry ingredients until well moistened.
- Pour into a well greased 8x8 pan, and bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes.
- Cut into bars immediately out of the oven.
