Jean's Ice Cream Sandwiches

• 1 cup shredded coconut
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 12 cups crispy rice cereal
• 12 cup chopped pecans
• 12 cup melted butter
• 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened

1. Mix all ingredients except ice cream.
2. Put one half of the cereal mixture in the bottom of a 9' x 9' pan.
3. Spread soft ice cream over cereal mixture in pan.
4. Top with remaining cereal mixture.
5. Freeze.
