Chocolate Chunk Cookies
- 2 1/2 c. old fashioned oats
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, cut into 1/2-inch chunks
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans (6 oz.)
- 4 oz. milk chocolate, grated
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease cookie sheets.
- Finely grind oats in processor.
- Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Blend well.
- With electric mixer, beat together butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in dry ingredients.
- Fold in pecans, semi-sweet chocolate and milk chocolate.
- Form dough into 1 1/4-inch balls.
- Space 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
