Havarti Apple Crunch
- 1 head Boston lettuce
- 2 red apples, cored and cut into 12 thin slices
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice Safeway 4 ct For $5.00 thru 02/09
- 1 pkg. (227 g) Cracker Barrel Havarti Cheese, sliced into 12 slices
- SEPARATE lettuce leaves, wash and trim ends.
- Cut larger leaves in half to make 12 pieces.
- BRUSH apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- ASSEMBLE each "sandwich" by taking 1 piece of lettuce, 1 slice of cheese and 2 slices of apple.
- Wrap lettuce around the cheese and apples and secure with wooden pick.
- Serve at room temperature.
