Grammamaz's Chicken Soup

  1. Put chicken, onions, celery, garlic, bay leaves and poultry seasoning in large soup pot.
  2. Add water and chicken base.
  3. I use "Superior Touch Better Than Bouillon" If you don't use the chicken base you may need to add salt.
  4. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hr.
  5. Add 1/2 cup white rice, carrots, chilies and cilantro and simmer for 1 hr.
