Apricot Pineapple Barbecue Sauce Recipe
- 1 x onion chopped
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 jar apricot-pineapple preserves - (18 ounce)
- 1/4 c. pineapple juice
- 1 can tomato sauce - (15 ounce)
- 1/2 c. cider vinegar plus
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 x garlic clove chopped
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce Salt to taste
- Fry onion in oil over medium-high heat till golden brown, 3 to 5 min.
- Add in preserves, pineapple juice, tomato sauce, vinegar, garlic and Worcestershire and bring to boil.
- Simmer till thick and flavors have melded, 1 hour.
- Add in salt to taste.
- Serve with pork chops or possibly ribs.
