Peanut Butter Cookies
- 2 1/2 cup all purpose four
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup cant believe its not butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- preheat oven to 350.
- combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
- Set aside.
- Combine peanut butter with spread in large bowl and beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Beat in sugar then eggs and vanilla until blended.
- Beat in flour mixture until just blended.
- (if necessary refrigerate dough until its easy to handle)
- Shape dough into 1 in.
- balls.
- Arrange cookies on ungreased cooking sheet 2 in.
- apart.
- Gently flatten each cookie and press criss cross patterns in top with a fork or knife dipped in sugar.
- Bake 12 minutes or until lightly golden.
