Grandma's Stuffed Cabbages Recipe
- 1 head savoy cabbage (large leaves)
- 1 pound grnd meat
- 1/2 c. cooked Minute rice
- 1 sm. minced raw onion
- 1 raw egg
- Parboil whole cabbage in large pot of water.
- Mix above filling ingredients together.
- Form into a ball and wrap leaf around it.
- Place ball closest to stem end of leaf, roll once, fold one side over roll, then the other and continue rolling in this fashion.
- Place in large casserole dish with cover.
- Mix sauce ingredients in a bowl and pour over cabbage rolls.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs.
- Serve with fluffy mashed potatoes.
