CanH's Fair Tacos!
- 2 lb Ground beef
- 1 bunch Green onions
- 1 head Lettuce
- 1 box Instant mashed potatoes
- 1 small Chef merito carne asada seasoning
- 1 each Salt, pepper, garlic powder, & onion powder
- 2 each Tomatos
- 2 each Lemons or Limes
- 1 bunch Cilantro
- 1 each White onion
- 1 packages Yellow corn tortillas small
- 1 each Taco sauce, or hot sauce, or salsa, or make your own like I do
- Heat large skillet pan medium heat.
- Spray with non stick cooking spray I use extra virgin olive oil.
- Add 3/4 of white onion quartered & sweat till starts to turn clear.
- Add ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, & chef merito seasoning to ground beef.
- Seasoning to your taste preference.
- Cook instant mashed potatoes according to directions on box.
- You will need about 3 or so cups.
- When ground beef is done cooking turn burner to low & add about 2-3 cups of instant mashed potatoes, about 2 cups of green onions both ends, & about 2 1/2 cups of lettuce.
- None of these have to be exact.
- Mix well.
- Cut up cilantro, tomato, white onion, & lettuce.
- Also cut lemon or lime into wedges.
- In another small skillet warm to medium heat.
- Spray with extra virgin olive oil or canola oil.
- Warm corn tortillas both sides till desired doneness.
- Now build your taco meat first, cilantro, white onion, lettuce, tomatos, & your choice of sauces on top.
- Add a squeeze of lemon or lime & a tiny pinch of salt (optional).
