Stuffed Whole Wheat Bread

  1. Note: prep time depends on whether you use a frozen loaf of dough or make it homemade.
  2. I prefer to make my bread in my bread machine rather than use frozen, but if you are pressed for time, use a frozen loaf.
  3. Just simply roll the sesame seeds and dill into it.
  4. If youd like to use homemade, then use any wheat dough recipe, adding the dill and sesame seeds in with the other ingredients.

  7. In a skillet, heat the oil.
  8. Cook the turkey and green onions until turkey is cooked through.
  9. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients, stirring till well combined.

  11. Roll out bread dough to form a 12 x 9 rectangle.
  12. Spoon filling down the center in about a 3 wide strip.
  13. 3.
  14. Make 1 slits down each side of the bread, right up to the filling.
  15. Moisten the ends of each slit and alternate folding them over each other at an angle.

  17. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  18. (I preheat my oven to 200 degrees, turn it off and let the bread rise in the oven.)

  20. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  21. Brush tops with butter.
  22. Serve with a crisp green salad or other veggie of choice.
