Chinese-style Cucumbers

  1. Slice the cucumbers in half vertically, then chop roughly and sprinkle with salt.
  2. Put all the seasoning ingredients in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
  3. Pour the sauce over the cucumbers while still hot.
