Chocolate Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Prepare cake batter as directed on package.
  3. Add dry pudding mix and milk; beat 2 min.
  4. Spoon into 24 paper-lined muffin cups.
  5. Bake 20 to 25 min.
  6. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pans 10 min.
  8. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
  9. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until blended.
  10. Gradually beat in powdered sugar.
  11. Pipe cream cheese mixture onto cupcakes.
  12. Sprinkle with colored sugar.
