Mushrooms in Red Wine
- 1 large pack of sliced mushrooms
- 1 handful of salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 50 ml red wine
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander
- In a large pan cook the mushrooms with a handful of salt.
- Cook for about 5-10 Stirring often.
- Once no more water is coming out of the mushrooms, drain the mushrooms and wipe pan down.
- Heat the olive oil and add the garlic cook for a few seconds.
- Add the mushrooms and stir.
- Cook for a further minute.
- Add the wine and cook for a further 5 minutes or so.
- Add the chilli powder, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Add the chopped coriander and cook for a further minute or so.
- Check seasoning and serve as a side.
