Sweet N Sour Pork Stir-Fry
- 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
- 3 Tablespoons Vinegar
- 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
- 1 pound Cubed Pork Or Stir-fry Strips
- 1/2 whole Onion, Sliced
- 1 whole Red Pepper, Roughly Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
- 2 Tablespoons Water
- 2 teaspoons Chicken Bouillon
- 1/2 cups Cashews
- 1- 1/2 cup Snow Peas
- Stir together the soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, and brown sugar.
- Add the pork and marinate for approximately 30 minutes.
- Heat a frying pan or wok on medium heat.
- Use a tablespoon of oil in the pan, and transfer the pork to the pan with a slotted spoon, reserving the leftover marinade.
- Stir-fry until done, 510 minutes, adding the onion and pepper at some point.
- I like to add the onion when the pork is about half-done, and the red pepper right at the end so it doesnt get overdone.
- Meanwhile, stir together the cornstarch, water, and chicken bouillon.
- Add both the cornstarch mixture and the remaining marinade to the pan and bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the cashews and snow peas.
- Serve over hot cooked rice.
