Poohrona's Refried Beans

  1. Soak beans over night and cook according to package instructions.
  2. Salt beans to taste.
  3. Once beans are done, add taco seasonings and garlic powder and cook for 10 additional minutes.
  4. Drain beans and reserve juice.
  5. With hand wand puree beans until smooth, adding reserved juice to get desired consistency.
  6. You can top with cheese if desired.
