Poohrona's Refried Beans
- 1 (16 ounce) package dried pinto beans
- salt, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning
- Soak beans over night and cook according to package instructions.
- Salt beans to taste.
- Once beans are done, add taco seasonings and garlic powder and cook for 10 additional minutes.
- Drain beans and reserve juice.
- With hand wand puree beans until smooth, adding reserved juice to get desired consistency.
- You can top with cheese if desired.
