Polynesian Sausage Kabobs

  1. In a large bowl, combine the lemon juice, soy sauce, water, honey, and salt.
  2. Set aside 1/4 to 1/3 of marinade for basting (cover and refrigerate).
  3. Pour remaining marinade into a large Ziploc bag and add sausage.
  4. Seal bag and refrigerate for up to 3 hours.
  5. Drain and discard the marinade from the sausage.
  6. On a metal skewer, add pieces of sausage, fruit and green pepper.
  7. Grill, uncovered, over medium heat for 10 minutes or until sausage is browned, turning and basting (with reserved marinade) frequently.
