Polynesian Sausage Kabobs
- 1/2 cups Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cups Soy Sauce
- 13 cups Water
- 13 cups Honey
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1- 1/2 pound Kielbasa Sausage
- 1 whole Pineapple, Cut Into 1-in Cubes
- 1 whole Cantaloupe, Cut Into 1-in Cubes
- 1 whole Green Pepper, Cut Into 1-in Pieces
- In a large bowl, combine the lemon juice, soy sauce, water, honey, and salt.
- Set aside 1/4 to 1/3 of marinade for basting (cover and refrigerate).
- Pour remaining marinade into a large Ziploc bag and add sausage.
- Seal bag and refrigerate for up to 3 hours.
- Drain and discard the marinade from the sausage.
- On a metal skewer, add pieces of sausage, fruit and green pepper.
- Grill, uncovered, over medium heat for 10 minutes or until sausage is browned, turning and basting (with reserved marinade) frequently.
