Sweet 'n' Sour Cabbage Saute
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 12 head green cabbage, about 1-1/2 lb, chopped
- 14 cup cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 ripe nectarines or 2 peaches, pitted and chopped
- Heat oil in skillet, add onion, and saute 3 to 5 minutes or until transparent.
- Add cabbage and saute another 3 minutes, or until just tender.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in vinegar, sugar, salt, and nectarines.
