Country Pie

  1. Combine 1/2 cup canned tomato sauce, bread crumbs, ground meat, onion, green pepper and oregano in a bowl; mix with a fork. Pat gently into sides and bottom of a greased 9-inch pie plate. Combine the Minute rice, 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce, 1 cup water, 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  2. Spoon rice mixture into meat shell.
  3. Cover with aluminum foil.
  4. Bake in moderate oven at 350u0b0 for 25 minutes.
  5. Uncover; top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
  6. Bake, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes.
