MZ - Poached egg on peas and carrots
- 1 sunflower oil
- 6 egg
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 carott (chopped)
- 500 grams frozen peas
- 1 salt & pepper
- 35 grams butter
- In a pan cover the surface with the oil and keeping low flame make sure that is hot
- add the onion and golden it for about 5 min
- At this point add the carrots and cook for about 2 more min.
- Add the butter and let it melt all over.
- When the butter is melted add the frozen peas and straight away add water.
- Need to cover the peas.
- Need to cook with low flame until the carrots are cooked.
- Add salt & pepper as prefered.
- When the water is reduced but still around.
- Break Cover and cook only for few min.
- Based how soft you like the egg.
- With a large spoon portion the dish.
- Probably with a better decoration then mine.
