Easiest & Chewiest Saucepan Blondies!
- 14 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 6 ounces milk chocolate chips (optional)
- 14 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
- Melt Butter in heavy saucepan.
- Cook for 2-4 minutes.
- Add Brown Sugar - mix well.
- Cool 10 minutes (scrap into another bowl to cool faster if you'd like).
- Mix in Egg and Vanilla.
- Add Flour and mix well.
- Add chips*.
- Spread into greased 8" square baking dish.
- Sprinkle nuts on top (press in lightly).
- Bake 350 degrees for 22-27 minutes or until set.
- Cool
- Cut into squares and ENJOY!
- *You can add dark or white chocolate , butterscotch, or peanut butter chips.
- and/or toffee bits!
- Or none at all!
- A 1/2 cup of Shredded Coconut would be yummy too!
