Avocado Half-Shells With Seafood
- 1/2 c. chili sauce
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. capers
- fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- dash of Tabasco
- 1 tsp. salt
- lemon or lime wedges (for garnish)
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. shrimp, shelled and cooked
- 1 (7 3/4 oz.) can crab meat, drained and flaked
- 1 (5 oz.) can lobster, drained and flaked
- 6 ripe avocados
- Combine chili sauce, mayonnaise, capers, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, salt and pepper.
- Toss chili mixture with seafood; chill.
- Halve avocados lengthwise, twisting gently to separate halves.
- Whack a sharp knife directly into seeds and twist to lift out.
- Brush avocado with lemon juice; fill with seafood salad and garnish with lemon wedges.
